Lyndy Wilkinson - Business Development Manager
Lyndy Wilkinson serves as a Business Development Manager for the Amarillo EDC, focusing on business retention and expansion and new lead generation. Lyndy is also responsible for workforce development initiatives to ensure Amarillo continues to have a skilled and available workforce. She collaborates with entities such as Amarillo College to help develop and implement training programs for both existing and new industry. Lyndy has served as the project manager on business attraction and expansion projects in the wind industry for companies such as Sage Oil Vac and Air Ups.
Before joining the Amarillo EDC, Lyndy worked as the Community Relations Coordinator for the City of Amarillo. In this role, she was responsible for communication with the general public, the business community and the news media. She provided information regarding City operations, programs and services, and was a member of the City’s public information team. Lyndy brings 10 years of experience in corporate communications both in government and private industry to the Amarillo EDC.
Lyndy is a graduate of Angelo State University with a B.A. in Communications. She has been an active member of the Junior League of Amarillo since 2005. She serves on the board of directors for the Class 4 Winds and Renewables Organization, is a 2009 recipient of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce’s “Top 20 Under 40” award, and is a founding member of Amarillo Young Professionals Organization.
