SciCron specializes in applying high quality, high performance coatings to plastics. They are the leader in static control coating with over 15 years of experience. Identified primarily with the semiconductor and electronics industries, these products control static electricity during the manufacture of charge sensitive devices. SciCron static dissipative products are the recognized standard of the industry. SciCron also manufactures the highest quality mar resistant and chemical resistant hard-coated plastics. Offering a unique anti-fog coating chemistry has a greater degree of adaptability than traditional anti-fog chemistry. These anti-fog products are used in humid environments where surface fogging could be detrimental. SciCron Technologies is a company grounded in technology. They employ multiple proprietary technologies, all of which are developed and manufactured in-house. Headquarters are located in Denver, CO. All formation, fabrication and coating operations are located in Amarillo. SciCron currently employs 20 full time employees.

The Amarillo EDC assisted SciCron with relocating to Amarillo with a building incentive. Amarillo EDC acquired a facility and invested $300,000 in renovations to prepare the facility for SciCron. The Amarillo EDC leases the facility to SciCron for 6 years with the option to renew the lease for up to four successive three year periods. The company will have the option to purchase the facility in the fifth year of the lease providing it has achieved agreed employment levels.
